As the price of each stat increases with its value, you will want to use your LPs first and use the permanent bonuses later in order to save money. Additionally, you should realize that many of the permanent or temporary bonuses that you can acquire this way will require some sort of other skill. For example, brewing your own potions of Strength or Dexterity will require you to have Alchemy 3, which will also cost LPs.
The same rule applies for rings and amulets that may require Smithing 2 or 3 in order to get them. That being said, Risen is very generous with its permanent bonuses, giving you a lot of freedom when investing your LPs. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. I usually play these sorta games as a warrior, but maybe that needs some tweaking for this particular game. If I plan on primarily using a sword, should I avoid the dexterity teacher altogether, or what? Should I forget strength, dexterity and the other one, and just focus on skills?
